There is something of the pre-historic about this place. We saw bright-tailed lizards scurrying over enormous boulders and white-faced monkeys swinging from trees. The area is steamy, colourful and lively - real pre-colonial Columbia, home to the indigenous Wayúu and Tayrona tribes. It´s a spiritual land unchanged for centuries which they´re keen to preserve for future generations.
