The rivers here are a sparkling emerald-green colour and a paradise for fishermen. This pretty lake in a wild setting 25k from Pucòn is unusual for its beautiful white sand beach (most of the beaches here are of black volcanic sand) and the water is the warmest of all the lakes so I was keen to have a dip.
