Boarded this comfortable green bus and did a 23-hour bus journey
from San Pedro to Santiago, the capital of Chile. The seats were very comfortable and I slept through the night.My Swiss friend, Myriam, however wasn't so lucky travelling to La Paz on a poorly maintained Bolivian road - it got stuck in mud and her journey took an extra 11 hours.
