What magnificent trees! The 1st one is called a Bibosi tree and is used to make furniture and handicrafts due to its big, flat slabs. The 2nd one is the Spiky Papayillo so called because its edible fruit looks like a papaya - the spikes serve as protection. The 3rd is an Almendrillo and the last is a Walking Palm which grows a new root on a different side each year to maintain its balance so it can keep reaching up higher towards the light.
